According to new stats from secondhand clothing e-trailer Thred Up, Ivanka Trump's fashion line is one the most resold brands of 2016, WWD reports.

The "purge surge," as the company calls it, includes Ivanka Trump's line as one of the top 10 brands users cleared out from their closets alongside Madewell, Lou & Grey, Active by Old Navy, Vera Bradley, Tommy Hilfiger, Fabletics (Kate Hudson's athletic line), Liz Lange Maternity, GAP Fit, and New York & Co.

Thred Up's data shows that in NYC and LA, supply has outpaced demand for Ivanka Trump's fashion line (aka it got less popular). In Dallas and Houston, however, demand has outpaced supply (it got more popular). Interestingly, Washington D.C. shows the greatest difference between supply and demand, meaning interest in Ivanka Trump's line decreased the most in this city more than anywhere else.

While Thred Up didn't explicitly reason this, it's probably safe to guess the aftermath of Trump taking office has something to do with it. After all, retailers like Nordstrom, Marshall's, and Neiman Marcus have been dropping her line due to her affiliation and role in the current presidential administration.
