Property sales in Bryn Mawr during the first quarter of 2015 increased 9.6 percent from previous year.

According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 91 properties that closed in the first six months, compared with 83 from the year before. In 2013 that number was 131.

The median price of the properties that sold in the first half decreased 15.7 percent over the same period in 2014, from $593,000 to $500,000. In 2013, the median price was $421,000. The average days on the market decreased by 19.1 percent from 61 to 49 days between 2014 and 2015.
