Going Further in its commitment to enhance the ownership experience, Ford India expanded the availability of its Genuine Service parts in Maharashtra and Goa with the appointment of Autoji Ford Parts as an exclusive distributor.
Inaugurated by N Prabhu, vice president, Ford customer service operations, the sprawling 2000 sq. ft. facility is located at 17/8, D1 Block, MIDC Chinchwad, Pune.
Speaking at the occasion, N Prabhu, vice president, Ford customer service operations, Ford India, said “As we introduce new products and bring more customers to Ford fold, we are committed to ensure convenience and easy availability of genuine spare parts. With the continued expansion of our retail distribution network, we will be closer to our customers by ensuring a reliable and improved customer experience.”
Continuing to enhance the ownership experience, Ford plans to expand the retail distribution of Ford Genuine parts to Gujarat, Rajasthan and East of India in the next phase.
Alongside expansion in the retail distribution of Ford Genuine Service Parts, some other key initiatives undertaken by Ford in ensuring customer convenience include:
- Sub Assembly Levels for Repairs: The ‘Sub Assembly Levels for Repairs’ enables a substantial saving in the overall ownership costs by breaking up an auto part into sub-components. Ford’s latest offering Figo Aspire offers unparalleled ownership experience with close to 850 parts available under sub-assembly
- Localization & Competitive Parts Pricing: Ford has worked with supplier base to attain increased levels of localization on the products, thereby achieving competitive price points while maintaining high quality.
- Ford’s Happy Pockets Service: continues to be an important CoO initiative that allows Ford car owners to avail and experience Ford’s quality service starting at just Rs. 2,199
- Ford Vehicle Personalisation Centre: The centre provides customized vehicle Personalisation options to customers to make their Ford cars look ‘distinctly theirs’. Ford is the first automaker to bring customization to the mass market. Such options are usually restricted to high-end luxury cars. The option is currently available on Ford EcoSport.
