We reported yesterday about Lenovo's new high-end smartphone, the Vibe X3, which was launched in China and is now on pre-order for $390 outright.

Today, yet another Lenovo Vibe series smartphone has gone official in China, a new report confirms. The new Vive X3 Lite is a downgraded version of the Vibe X3 that we mentioned in our earlier report.

The new smartphone is now available for pre-order in China for $295, and should hit shelves in the next couple of days.

Regarding specs, Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite looks like a decent mid-range handset. But first of all, let's mention the device comes preloaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

Lots of audio features and some mid-range specs

Hardware-wise, the handset includes a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The Vibe X3 Lite offers both 4G LTE and Hybrid Dual SIM support. It also features Wi-Fi, 3G HSPA+, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS with AGPS support.

Furthermore, the handset sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

There is also a 13-megapixel camera on the back side, which features autofocus, dual-LED flash, and video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Just like the Vibe X3, the Lite version comes with exceptional audio features like Texas Instruments OPA1612 amplifier, a Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec for noise and echo cancellation, and a high-end Sabre 9018C2M DAC. Dolby Atmos audio technology is included too.

Last but not least, Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite is powered by a removable 3,400 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
