HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) –Hinds County deputies conducted a traffic stop Wednesday that resulted in the largest methamphetamine seizure in state history.

The drugs were street valued at more than $3 million.

Deputies pulled a Toyota Corolla over on Fortification Street for careless driving. Two men were inside the car, officials said.

The two men were coming from Atlanta, Georgia headed to Jackson.

A K-9 unit found about 30 kilos of ice.

The men were charged with aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance.

Their names were not released by the sheriff’s department.
