The U.S. unit of an Australian travel company has decided to relocate its headquarters from Ramsey to Montvale, according to real estate services firm JLL, which arranged the lease.FC USA Inc., whose brands include Liberty Travel, GOGO Vacations and others, signed a 15-year lease for 70,863 square feet at 5 Paragon Drive, a 119,254-square-foot Class A office building owned by Lone Star Funds, JLL said last week in a news release.

“FC USA was looking for larger premises that could accommodate its vision for a headquarters that would reflect the company’s brand and mission,” JLL Executive Vice President Phillip Lipper said in a prepared statement. “JLL was able to find it an ideal location at 5 Paragon Drive. JLL will also oversee the renovation effort. Once FC USA’s space is completed, a tour of its new headquarters will be like taking a trip around the world.”

FC USA, which is moving from 69 Spring St., Ramsey, was represented by Lipper, along with Thomas Reilly and Scott Lesh, managing directors. Gregory Barkan, a senior vice president with CBRE Inc., represented the landlord.

JLL’s John Vivino, vice president, and Jasmine Amoso, senior project manager, will lead the interior renovation effort. Daniel Breen, executive vice president and head of JLL’s Business and Economic Incentives Group in the tri-state region, was key to obtaining incentives for the project.
