Sun: NICE Systems lifts TASE

NICE Systems rose strongly but Teva Pharmaceuticals and Opko Health declined.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.12%, to 1,714.59 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.06%, to 1,479.43 points; and the BlueTech Index rose 0.24%, to 357.71 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.14%, to 320.29 points. Turnover totaled NIS 448.3 million.

On Friday, on the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate was set up 0.053% at NIS 3.783/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.143%, at NIS 4.137/€.

On the market, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) fell 1.12% and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.51% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 index on the day's biggest trading turnover. Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) fell 0.98% and Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE:FRUT; OTCBB:FRUTF) fell 1.19%.

NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 3.70% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index, while Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 1.68%, and Gazit-Globe Ltd. (NYSE: GZT; TASE: GZT; TSX: GZT) rose 2.32%.
