Sanofi announced the launch of leflunomide Tablets, the generic version of its Arava, through the company’s generic division Winthrop US.

Arava is a pyrimidine synthesis inhibitor indicated for active rheumatoid arthritis to reduce signs/symptoms, inhibit structural damage, and improve physical function. It may be used with aspirin, NSAIDs, and/or low-dose corticosteroids.

Leflunomide Tablets are available in 10mg and 20mg strengths in 30-count bottles and in 100mg 3-count blister packs.
