Midland-headquartered Clayton Williams Energy announced Monday that Patrick G. Cooke will join the company as senior vice president and chief operating officer.

Midland-headquartered Clayton Williams Energy announced Monday that Patrick G. Cooke will join the company as senior vice president and chief operating officer.

Cooke most recently managed Noble Energy’s Texas business unit, where he focused on Noble’s Delaware Basin assets, according to a company press release. He has also worked in various roles for BP America.

Cooke will formally begin his role with Clayton Williams Energy on Monday. He will work alongside recently hired Jaime R. Casas, who joined the company Oct. 1 as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Casas previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of LRR Energy.
