Sanmina-SCI Corporation Earnings Retreat 11% In Q4

Sanmina-SCI Corporation (SANM) announced a profit for fourth quarter that decreased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings came in at $47.70 million, or $0.57 per share. This was lower than $53.41 million, or $0.61 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.55 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 3.0% to $1.64 billion. This was down from $1.69 billion last year.
