Facebook SDK for tvOS comes with a few features that you can integrate into your applications. They are:

  • Facebook Login – Entering information onto your TV is a painful process. Unless you have a keyboard connected, chances are that you’ll end up spending a minute or two just scrolling up and down typing each letter and number. With the SDK, developers can integrate a quick login process into their apps. ALl users will have to do is enter a code displayed on their TV into their smartphone and computer for verification. Easy and fast method of authentication and login.
  • Share to Facebook – Once users are logged into their Facebook accounts, they will be able to share photos, videos, links and other content with their friends and family easily, just as they would on a smartphone or computer.
  • Facebook Analytics for Apps – This will help developers understand their audience better by studying how exactly they engage with their app and take necessary steps to provide an even better experience.
