2017 Indigenous Peoples Pow Wow at MTSU

The Indigenous Peoples Powwow was held Friday through Sunday at the Tennessee Livestork Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. The three-day intertribal contest powwow included native dancing and singing, Lakota author Ron Colombe, and some of the top-ranked dancers ranging from the Cree of the Canadian Tundra to Aztec Dancers of South America and the Incans of the Ecuadorian Andes. Vendors sold food, jewelry, clothing and much more.
