It’s that time of the year, the time when we decide to even get the things we don’t really have a need for but end up buying anyway because the discounts are just too enticing. Many companies and retailers have now confirmed the deals that they will be offering this Black Friday, and BlackBerry is getting in on the fun as well with up to 20 percent discount on select handsets.

“Select handsets” really is the magical word here because you shouldn’t expect to get your hands on BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone for up to 20 percent off. The BlackBerry Priv is not included in the company’s Black Friday 2015 promotion.

You can, however, get the BlackBerry Classic for $299 as opposed to $379. BlackBerry Leap has been discounted from $199 to $179 and the BlackBerry Passport can be purchased for $399 instead of $499. Even the recently announced BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is included which see its price reduced from $549 to $499.

Those are all of the devices that BlackBerry has discounted for Black Friday 2015, the BlackBerry Priv is not included and that’s bound to disappoint a few who thought that perhaps they will be able to pick up the latest Berry at a discount.

Discounts of up to 20 percent are offered in all eight countries where BlackBerry’s online store is available, the discount will be available until December 1st.
