WALK/RIDE DAY CELEBRATION at Magazine Beach Park, Magazine Street and Memorial Drive, Cambridge, on July 31, 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Free. Celebrate the end of the week and month and green commuting. Listen to music by Dinty Childs and friends and community-inspired poetry. See Susan Israel’s “Rising Tides.” Bring a picnic or purchase food from food vendors.
