Warner Bros has promoted executive Lynne Frank, naming her President of International Marketing and Worldwide Planning and Operations at Warner Bros Pictures. She will report to WB’s Worldwide Marketing and Distribution President Sue Kroll, who herself re-upped last week in a multiyear deal.
Frank will work closely with Blair Rich, also promoted today to the position of President Of Worldwide Marketing as Kroll rolls out her exec strategy.
Frank joined Warner Bros Pictures in 2010 as EVP International Marketing, during which time she headed up campaigns for Pacific Rim, The Hobbit trilogy, The Conjuring, San Andreas, Batman V Superman and others.
In her new position, she will oversee strategic development, campaign planning and execution on all overseas Warner Bros releases, as well as working with the studio’s global theatrical marketing team on overall brand management of major film titles and franchises. Her other responsibilities will include collaboration with the film distribution and corporate teams to further planning and development of WB’s worldwide theatrical business, continuing to develop theatrical-related marketing, business and growth initiatives in China, and operational responsibility for Warner Bros’ global theatrical marketing department.
