Law firm inks $18M lease at One Biscayne in downtown Miami

Zarco Einhorn Salkowski & Brito signed a 15-year, $18 million lease for a full floor at One Biscayne Tower in downtown Miami.

L&B Institutional Fund owns the 39-story skyscraper, at 2 South Biscayne Boulevard. The law firm is relocating from the Miami Tower to a 26,186-square-foot 34th floor at One Biscayne.

Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chair Brian Gale and Managing Director Andrew Trench represented the owner, according to a press release. Brent Palmer and Sharon Ellis of Palmer Property Group, together with Zelda Zarco, represented the law firm. ZESB plans to fully renovate the space before it moves in in mid-2017. GiGi Alvarez Studios and Interiors by Steven G will work on the new office. 

In all, One Biscayne Tower has about 700,000 square feet and was received LEED Gold certification in 2014. It underwent renovations to the common areas in 2014. Other tenants include FTI Consulting, Sedgwick LLP, Veritext LLC, Stantec, Flagler Investment and Verizon.
