BioKansas to Announce 2017 Kansas BioGENEius Challenge WinnerBioKansas will announce the winner of the Kansas BioGENEius Challenge this Thursday at Aratana Therapeutics. BioKansas has selected the best and brightest students from the Kansas State Science & Engineering Fair and the Greater Kansas City Science & Engineering Fair for the chance to compete in the International BioGENEius Challenge. The BioGENEius Challenge provides these students with the opportunity to compete against student researchers from across the world, and be recognized by industry for outstanding research in biotechnology. The 2017 Kansas BioGENEius Finals includes five student researchers from across Kansas, as well as one from Missouri. Their projects are amazingly diverse, including topics relevant to industrial, agricultural and medical biotechnology:
