Monster crocodile sends fishermen scurrying in Western Australia

A huge crocodile has sent a group of gutsy Western Australian fishermen scurrying back to safety when it didn’t take too kindly to being disturbed.
The salt water crocodile was sunning itself on the bank of the Ord River near Kununurra over the weekend when three fishermen from Northbound Charters inched closer to the giant animal in their tinnie.
As they approached, the animal swung its head back and made a beeline towards them, forcing the fishermen into a hasty retreat.
“Woah! F--- off!” one of the men said as the boat accelerated away, before they shared some relieved laughs.
The crew said they had spotted quite a few big crocs on the banks of the Ord River recently since the Big Wet.
The video of the close encounter has been viewed more than 135,000 times.
