UK TV is to launch a series of interactive services to accompany its channel portfolio on Sky Digital, it has been revealed.
The viewer will be able to shrink the picture to 1/4 size in order to access listings information, and other channel-specific features.
UK Gold's service will feature quizzes and programme trivia, whilst UK Style interactive will include DIY and gardening tips, and UK Food will broadcast recipes.
No specific launch date has been given for the services, which have been developed jointly with Go Interact TV, a division of Sony Broadband.
Versions are planned for ntl and Telewest AD for launch in late 2002.
