A historical home in Snedens Landing, New York, previously owned by Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman is for sale - with an asking price of $3.295million.

The Ding Dong House, as it's known locally, includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and one partial bathroom, according to its Ellis Sotheby's International Realty online listing. The home, it says, was originally built in 1750 - 266 years ago.

The listing reveals: 'A pre-revolutionary war Flemish farmhouse colonial, expanded in the 1860's [sic] and built in three sections with big Hudson River views.

'Home to actors, sculptors, choreographers and other extraordinary residents for hundreds of years.'

Celebrities: Former couple Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman (seen together left in 2000) and actress Margot Kidder (seen right in 1985) have lived at the Ding Dong House in Snedens Landing, New York

Indeed, according to Bloomberg Business, in addition to Hawke and Thurman, actress Margot Kidder - known for playing Lois Lane in the Superman film series - and the late Broadway choreographer Jerome Robbins previously lived at the Ding Dong House.

The website explained the home used to feature a bell and had served as the local library.

The Ding Dong House's online listing says the home offers 'Sweeping views from large rear porch overlooking bucolic garden with stone patios, gunite pool/entertainment area, private lawn and Hudson River. 

'Located a short walk, only three houses from the Hudson River. Near resident tennis association and 25 minutes to NYC.'

Bloommberg Business reported that Al Pacino, Diane Sawyer, and Bill Murray also have homes in Snedens Landing.

DailyMail.com reported in October 2015 that Angelina Jolie lived in Snedens Landing with her mother and brother before going to high school in Los Angeles.
