DiamondRock acquires Sheraton Suites Key West

DiamondRock Hospitality Co. purchased the 184-suite Sheraton Suites Key West for US$94 million. A US$5 million renovation is planned for the hotel’s lobby, pool and guestrooms.

“We are very excited about our acquisition of this all-suites hotel, which represents our second acquisition in the highest RevPAR market in the United States,” said Mark Brugger, president and CEO of DiamondRock.

Sheraton Suites Key West will continue to be managed by Ocean Properties.
