ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A huge announcement Monday could boost home ownership in the city of St. Louis. Eligible St. Louis home buyers will soon be able to apply for $15,000 down payment assistance grants through Wells Fargo’s ‘Home Lift’ program.

Mayor Francis Slay and other dignitaries made the big announcement while visiting a home on the city’s north side this morning.  It’s an example of new homes on the market that were built by Ranken Technical College.

Prospective buyers must register to attend the ‘Home Lift’ event at America’s Center on September 25th and 26th.
