A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for shooting a pharmacy clerk earlier this month in midtown Baltimore.The case involves the robbery and shooting of a clerk on Nov.6 at the Rite Aid at 250 W. Chase St.The FBI said the robber came into the store coughing and headed past the pharmacy toward the medicine aisle. He then walked back to the front counter, put a drink on the counter and pulled out a handgun.Investigators said the robber demanded money before he walked around the counter, took the cash drawer and shot the clerk in the left thigh. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Police said the robber is a black man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, between 30 to 40 years old and was last seen wearing a pink surgical mask and a dark winter hat lined with fur.If you know anything about the robbery or the robber you are asked to call the Baltimore FBI at 410-265-8080.The reward is being offered by the Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, which is made up of FBI agents and detectives from Baltimore City and Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties. The group investigates significant violent crimes, including kidnappings, commercial robberies, armored car and bank robberies, extortion and fugitive felons.
