Deadliest Catch star Jacob Harris is arrested for stealing a car while carrying prescription pills and crystal meth

The former star of Deadliest Catch was arrested Friday for stealing a woman's car in broad daylight.

Jacob Harris, 31, was arrested when the victim found him at a Phoenix, Arizona Circle K in her allegedly stolen car 12 hours after the theft.

According to court documents, Harris traveled from Washington state to Arizona with a female companion and was staying at a Phoenix hotel.

The unidentified woman called police Saturday to say Harris took her vehicle without her permission while she slept.

Harris was found at a gas station and told police he was getting breakfast for himself and the woman.

The woman approached them and a fight broke out according to AZ Central

At 5pm police arrested Harris, who insisted the woman gave him permission to drive her car.

Police reportedly found Xanax pills and crystal meth in Harris's possession.  

He was arrested with possession of dangerous drugs, illegal possession of prescription drugs and felony theft. His court date is set for May 5. 

Harris's father Paul died in 2010 of a stoke. He was a staple on the Deadliest Catch, the show Jacob and his brother Josh were also featured.

In January, Jacob Harris was brutally beaten and robbed. He was left with a cracked skull and brain trauma according to KIRO7.
