NEW HIRES

Ryan M. Scott of Elizabethtown has joined Susquehanna Bank as a residential mortgage banker. He will be based out of Hampden Twp. Scott previously worked as central Pennsylvania's wealth management and private client mortgage loan officer for PNC Bank and has 15 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.

Spencer Bordner of Mechanicsburg was hired as a junior design engineer in the bridge unit of the transportation engineering group in Erdman Anthony's Harrisburg area office. He previously served as an intern at Erdman Anthony.

Suzanne Rosenthal was named director of human resources at Dawood Engineering Inc. in Hampden Twp. She will oversee human resources functions throughout all of Dawood's 10 locations. She joins Dawood with over 15 years of experience.

John Corsa of York was named controller of York County-based Moxie Design and Marketing. Corsa brings over 20 years of financial and managerial experience to Moxie. Corsa previously served as accounting manager at Shipley Energy.

Andy Gilburg of Lancaster was named as a preconstruction manager at Lancaster County-based Benchmark Construction Company.

Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz in East Pennsboro Twp. announced the following professionals were hired as staff accountants: Eric Beaverson, who has one year of corporate accounting experience; Alex Craver, a recent college graduate and Chris Wagoner, also a recent graduate.

David A. Schlappy was named vice president, chief quality and transformation officer of the Reading Health System. Prior to joining Reading Health, Schlappy served as vice president, quality and medical staff services for Silver Cross Health Care System in New Lenox, IL.

Marlo Heagy has joined Abel Personnel Inc. in Swatara Twp. as a recruiter. She has been working in the staffing industry for the past few years. Previously, Heagy worked as a Realtor.

Debra Franklin of Reading and an attorney, was named vice president for human resource solutions at Murray Securus. Prior to joining Murray Securus, Franklin ran her own human resource and legal consulting business for over thirteen years. She will be based out of the firm's Berks County office.

Triple Crown Corporation in Lower Paxton Twp. has announced the following: Laura Hoak was named leasing associate at its La Collina location. She has more than seven years of industry experience; William Graham was named leasing associate at its Georgetown Crossing community; Shawna Sansoni was named property manager at its Brooks Edge location. She has four years of industry experience and has a Pa. real estate license; Bob Tischio was named property manager at its La Collina location. He has ten years of industry experience. He will oversee a division of four communities in Lower Paxton Twp. and Susquehanna Twp.; Donald Sokoloski was named senior director of construction operations. He has 20 years of industry experience.

Judah Hoover of Lancaster has joined the Dauphin County-based real estate investment firm of PA Deals as vice president of strategic partnerships. He has 15 years of experience as a loan officer, most recently at American Financial Network.

F&M Trust announced the following: Matthew Weaver was named senior vice president, marketing and corporate communications manager, and Bruce Smith was named investment and trust services market manager for Cumberland County. Weaver brings more than 20 years of business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing and communications experience to his role with F&M Trust. Prior to joining F&M Trust, he spent three years at IMRE, a marketing communications agency based in Maryland as an account manager. His past experience also includes various positions with Susquehanna Bank and CliftonLarsonAllen; Smith brings more than 34 years of investment advisory and professional consulting experience to F&M Trust. Most recently, he served as an Investment Advisor for PNC Wealth Management.

Colin P. Shenk, of Myerstown, was named small business treasury solutions sales officer in Fulton Financial Corporation's merchant card services.

Betty A. McConnell of Hummelstown was named residential appraisal review officer in Fulton Financial Corporation's consumer credit administration department. McConnell comes to Fulton Financial Corporation from PennDOT where she held the position of residential appraiser.

Sheryl Sheffer of Hershey was named compliance officer in Fulton Financial Corporation's compliance department. Sheffer comes to Fulton Financial Corporation from Metro Bank where she held the position of senior auditor.

Kay Mercein Mann has joined the law firm of Kegel Kelin Almy & Lord LLP in Lancaster. She has over 20 years of legal experience. She began her legal career at Kegel Kelin Almy & Lord LLP and is returning to the law firm.

PROMOTIONS (and moves within the company)

Kim Bloom of Hanover has joined the finance/member services department of Adams Electric Cooperative as a member services representative. She will work out of the call center at the co-op's headquarters in Adams County. Bloom has been with the cooperative since 2013 as a service dispatcher in the engineering department. Prior to joining the cooperative, Bloom retired from the County of Adams Department of Emergency Services as an emergency dispatcher.

McKonly & Asbury, an accounting and business advisory services firm in Hampden Twp. has announced the following promotions: Kurt M. Trimarchi, a certified public accountant was promoted to co-managing partner. He has been a member of McKonly & Asbury for over ten years; Terry L. Harris, a certified public accountant and the firm's current managing partner, will also serve as co-managing partner; David Blain, a certified public accountant was promoted to partner. He joined McKonly & Asbury in 2004. He is currently the firm's segment leader of the manufacturing and entrepreneurial services group; Elizabeth Harriger, a certified public accountant and currently a principal with the firm is now also co-director of real estate services. She will serve as co-directors of real estate services; David Hammarberg, a certified public accountant was promoted principal. He joined McKonly & Asbury in 2000 and is now a principal in addition to his previous role as director of information technology; Danielle Guinter, a certified public accountant was promoted to senior manager. She joined McKonly & Asbury in 2005. Previously, she worked for Merrill Lynch at its corporate headquarters; Kurt Leitzel was promoted to supervisor. He joined McKonly & Asbury in 2010; Joshua Deitch was promoted to supervisor. He joined McKonly & Asbury in 2008 and is the chair of the firm's independence committee; Ravi Kanani, a certified public accountant was promoted to supervisor. He joined McKonly & Asbury in 2011; Anne Whiteley, a certified public accountant was promoted to supervisor. She joined McKonly & Asbury in 2011.

Robin Harmon was named executive director of The Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation where she has worked since 2012 as its executive assistant. Noel Purdy assumed the role of executive vice president of the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce.

Nancy Schmitt of Dauphin County was promoted to regional sales coach for central Pennsylvania at Traditions of America. Schmitt joined the builder in 2012 as a new home counselor. She has over 25 years of experience in operations management. She previously owned a spa that later expanded into a community retreat center.

APPOINTMENTS

Melissa Nicholson, executive director of Gamut Theatre Group was elected vice president of the Shakespeare Theatre Association, an international organization for theaters dedicated to the works of William Shakespeare. She is the co-founder of Gamut Theatre Group. She and her husband began the company in 1993 with the Popcorn Hat Players Children's Theatre. In 1994 they formed the Harrisburg Shakespeare Company which continues today with the annual Free Shakespeare in the Park event at Reservoir Park.

The Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation announced its 2015 board of directors: Michelle Paulnock, ACNB Bank was named president; Michael Doncheski, Penn State Mont Alto was named vice-president; Todd Bard, Smith Elliott Kearns & Company was named treasurer; Brenda Hefner, Menno Haven Retirement Communities is the immediate past president; Eric Foreman, Susquehanna Bank was named chamber representative. Other board members include: Brad Ocker, Chambersburg Area School District; Jessica Kiers, Volvo Construction Equipment; Cheri Kearny, United Way of Franklin County; Leslie Baker, JLG Industries; Laureen Lutz, 1st Ed Credit Union and Colby Fry, CVR Uniforms. The Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation was founded in 1990 and was organized by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce as a corporation exclusively for charitable, educational and cultural purposes.

Kurt Twiford of Camp Hill will serve as chair of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber board of directors and Sharon Ryan will serve as chair of the CREDC board of directors for 2015. Twiford is president/CEO of Conexus Inc. Ryan is the president and owner of Dasher Inc. The additional slate of 2015 Harrisburg Regional Chamber officers is as follows: Deb Suder, Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney was named first vice chair; Jim Mooney, Enginuity was named second vice chair; Sheilah Borne, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Barb Bowker, PSECU was named secretary. Scott Landis, an attorney with Barley Snyder was named president of the board of directors for the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Lancaster County. He is a partner with Barley Snyder and practices in its finance and creditors' rights and intellectual property groups.

Warren Hudak, owner of Hudak and Company was elected as vice chairman of the National Federation of Independent Business's state leadership council which represents 15,000 small businesses in Pennsylvania.

REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS

Mattress Smart & Décor, a discount luxury mattress dealer leased 3,000-square-feet of space at 182 Second St., Highspire. The Bill Gladstone Group of NAI CIR handled the transaction.

PA Virtual Charter School, an administrative office leased 4,000-square-feet of space for an additional location at 909 Green St., Harrisburg. Joseph Bedard of NAI CIR represented United Way of PA, the property owner.

Latsha Davis & McKenna, a law firm, leased 9,538-square-feet of space at 1700 Bent Creek Blvd., Silver Spring Twp. Joseph Bedard of NAI CIR represented Latsha Davis & McKenna, and Laura Martin of Latus Commercial Real Estate represented Silver Salmon Enterprises, the property owner.

NextGen Cyclones LLC, an engineering firm has leased 3,200-square-feet of office space at 518 S. Eighth St., Lebanon. James Ross and Katherine Monte of NAI CIR represented Dean Hoover, the property owner.

Sheffield Building Services, a commercial janitorial and building maintenance company leased 142-square-feet of space at 100 N. 10th St., Harrisburg from WCI Partners L.P. The Bill Gladstone Group of NAI CIR handled the transaction.

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, an engineering firm, has leased 3,150-square-feet of warehouse space at 3200 Pike St., Paxtang. Ida McMurray of NAI CIR handled the transaction.

Sophies at the Market restaurant has renewed its lease of 2,736-square-feet at 3700 Market St., Hampden Twp. M. Richard Kleiman of NAI CIR handled the transaction.

Brad Shover, Small Business Accounting and Tax Service leased suite 207 at 4076 Market Street, Hampden Twp. from 4076 Market Street LLC. Chuck Heller and Drew Bobincheck of Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. represented the landlord in the transaction.

Oh My Yoga LTD leased approximately 3,425-square-feet of commercial space at 614 N. Front St., Harrisburg. Chuck Heller of Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. represented the tenant. Thomas T. Posavec of Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. represented the landlord, Mann Realty Associates Inc.

Network Communications Inc. leased office space at 4601 Locust Lane in Lower Paxton Twp. Thomas T. Posavec of Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. negotiated the lease on behalf of both the tenant and the landlord, Lammando & Shives Partnership.

Arko Flooring LLC leased a commercial property at 2700 Paxton St. in Swatara Twp. Roy H. Brenner of Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. represented the tenant. Daniel J. Alderman of NAICIR represented the landlord, Mumma Realty Associates I.

RAC Acceptance East LLC leased office space at 75 Utley Drive, Lower Allen Twp. Roy H. Brenner of Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. negotiated the transaction on behalf of both the tenant and the landlord, Triple Crown Corporation.

Susquehanna Valley Self Storage LLC purchased Newberry Self Storage at 1965 York Haven Road in Newberry Twp. The property will be renovated. Daniel J. Alderman and Brad Swidler of NAI CIR handled the arrangements on behalf of the seller.
