HARTFORD — Police are investigating a serious crash involving a Connecticut Transit bus on Locust Street.

Three people were injured — two seriously, according to David Skoczulek of Aetna Ambulance Service, Inc. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, he said.

The crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. in front of The UPS Store at 90 Locust St. The bus appears to have collided with a car and a tree.

One of the people who was seriously injured was the bus driver, said Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley.

The street was closed after the crash.
