Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM) steadily declined until mid-morning Wednesday and was halted briefly around the middle of the trading session. Shares finished with a loss of 6.01 at $7.62 on the highest volume of the year. The stock plummeted to a new low for the year.

Rayonier Advanced Materials was under pressure due to a dispute with its largest customer, Eastman Chemical Co. (EMN), over the terms of a supply contract.
