Skaneateles, N.Y. -- Medical equipment maker Hill-Rom Holdings Inc. is looking for people with experience in engineering, project management, marketing and sourcing to fill open positions at its Welch Allyn facility in Skaneateles.

The company will hold an "career open house" Tuesday, April 25, giving job applicants an opportunity to tour Welch Allyn, check out its products and meet with the company's senior leaders, hiring managers and others.

"We're looking to attract top talent in certain fields," said Howard Karesh, vice president of corporate communications for Hill-Rom.

The event will run from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Applicants may sign up for the event through LinkedIn.

Hill-Rom has pledged to create 109 jobs over the next two years and expand its plant on State Street Road in exchange for up to $13.5 million in state and local incentives. The company announced in November that it will build a 110,000-square-foot addition to its 350,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.

Chicago-based Hill-Rom bought Welch Allyn from the Allyn family for $2.05 billion in 2015. It employs 900 people in Skaneateles.
