Potash Corp Of Saskatchewan Inc. (POT.TO) released earnings for its first quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $149 million, or $0.18 per share. This was up from $75 million, or $0.09 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.3% to $1.11 billion. This was down from $1.21 billion last year.
