Regina Opera to perform at Bay Ridge Library

Opera arias and Broadway show tunes will both be on the song list when the Regina Opera company presents a free concert at the Bay Ridge Library on Wednesday, May 27.

The one-hour concert, which will take place at the library at 7223 Ridge Boulevard at 6:45 p.m., will feature the talents of soprano Phyllis Falletta, mezzo-soprano Jackie Hayes and baritone Masami Morimoto –baritone. They will be accompanied by flutist Richard Paratley and pianist Maxine Feldman.

The concert is supported in part by funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council, and with funding from the New York State Council on the Arts administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc.

Other major supporters are City Council members Carlos Menchaca and Vincent Gentile; Brooklyn Community Foundation; Borough President Eric Adams, NYC & Company Foundation; Seijo Corporation, Con Edison, Investors Bank Foundation, Peter and Gail Salvatore Foundation, Ezra Jack Keats Foundation and Bay Ridge Federal Credit Union.
