UPDATED: 11:55am Late last night police received confirmation that Billy had returned to his home in the city. Officers would like to thank all those who shared the appeal.

A worried family are appealing for information about a man who has gone missing from Gloucester.

William (Billy) Duff, 65, from Vicarage Road in Gloucester was last seen yesterday morning leaving McDonalds in Westgate Street, Gloucester at 8.30am yesterday and later, around 10.30am heading towards Market Parade from Station Road, Gloucester. He has not returned home.



He is 5’9” tall wearing a black, quilted jacket, jeans and black boots. Billy walks with a limp and uses a brown walking stick. His hair is very short and grey and he has a moustache.



A police spokesman said: "It is very out of character for Billy not to return home and his family are concerned for his welfare."
