Branch of the Future: America First Credit Union Opens Innovation Center

America First Credit UnionSalt Lake City-based America First Credit Union has opened up an Innovation Center as it seeks to create the branch of the future recognizing the shifting methods of financial management as everything moves online. The non-profit, member-owned credit union, the 7th largest by membership in the US, said the new venture will not be a traditional branch but a place for collaboration where the latest innovations may be shared. America First said it will test multiple channel experiences to capture real-time feedback and use this to implement “experience enhancements across its member base and within its 116 branch locations.”

“We have maintained our position to bring relevant innovation to our members and provide the best experience possible.  This continues to propel us forward as a leader in this space.”

America First posted a list of “solution partners” including; Adrenaline, Antuar, BNA Consulting, Buffalo Pacific, Cisco, City Creek Center, Diebold, Downstream, Financial Town, Glory Global Solutions, HKS Architects, MX, MultiTaction, Oakland Construction, and Taubman, among others.

Randy Halley, Executive VP at America First, said they solicited the best technology to launch the center. They expect to provide advanced solutions allowing them to provide the best service for their members.

 

Most global financial institutions have already created or partnered on creating innovation centers to learn how they may better serve customers and incorporate technology to provide a more valuable service. America First may be the first cooperative to take these steps.
