In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Western Digital (WDC) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 4.8%. Year to date, Western Digital has lost about 26.2% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Intuit (INTU), trading down 3.9%. Intuit is showing a gain of 6.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Yahoo! (YHOO), trading down 2.8%, and Seagate Technology (STX), trading up 3.8% on the day.
