Police identify suspect in robbery in Logan Park

PEORIA — Police identified but did not immediately apprehend the suspect in a strong-armed robbery of a man Thursday night in South Peoria.

The victim, 47, told police he was walking about 8:35 p.m. in Logan Park, in the 1400 block of South Livingston Street, when someone hit him in the back of the head and took $126 cash and his red Fila T-shirt.

Police apprehended one male who was with the suspect, but the victim said that male did not participate in the robbery.

That male was released, but the suspect was not located.
