The Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter in Philadelphia has named Cathy Rossi, vice president of public and government affairs at the AAA Mid-Atlantic, to its board.

Ballard Spahr partner and former DuPont general counsel Tom Sager has been named to the advisory board of DirectWomen. DirectWomen is a national nonprofit that works to increase the representation of female lawyers on corporate boards and serves as the organization's primary governance body, overseeing strategic direction, fund-raising, and programming.

Lloyd Kern, Jedidiah Weller, and Melissa Gurmankin have been elected to the board of Kitchen Cred, a nonprofit that strives to empower at-risk youth in Greater Philadelphia by helping them to cultivate life skills via cooking, nutrition knowledge, and kitchen competency. Kern had served as CFO for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia; Weller is the cofounder and chief developer of Webjunto, ; and Gurmankin is the owner of More Thyme For You Personal Chef Service.

Ludo Scheffer has been elected chair of International House Philadelphia. He is a teaching professor in Drexel University's department of psychology and director of Drexel's undergraduate studies program in psychology. He is also chair of Drexel University's Faculty Senate.

Bryant M. Greene, owner/administrator of Always Best Care Senior Services of Philadelphia, Bucks and Delaware Counties, and Jacqueline M. Keenan, chief financial officer for the investment management unit and a broker dealer for SEI Investments, were appointed to the board of the Overbrook School for the Blind.

William T. Dudeck, a shareholder of Doylestown-based Eastburn & Gray P.C., had been appointed to the board of the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce.

John C. Fenningham has been appointed a member of the St. Mary Medical Center board of directors. He is a transactional and commercial litigator who is managing partner of the law firm Fenningham, Stevens, Dempster & Coval L.L.P.

Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, Doylestown, has named the following board members: Chuck Breder, division president of Toll Brothers Inc.; Susan Eckert, director of human resources at Parx Casino; Mike Keim, senior executive vice president, chief financial officer of Univest Corp.; John Richardson, project engineer at Dumack Engineering; and Karl Schmidt, engineering fellow at Villanova University and retired vice president of risk management at Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain.
