After helping TCU move over .500 in Big 12 play for the first time, Vladimir Brodziansky has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week. Top newcomer honors are shared by Josh Jackson (Kansas) and Jarrett Allen (Texas). It marks the first awards this season for Brodziansky and Allen, while Jackson earns his fourth newcomer accolade and fifth weekly recognition overall.

• Averaged 22.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks to lead TCU to two wins for the week.
• Finished 20-of-28 (.714) from the field, including converting his first 3-pointer of the season.
• His game-high 25 points led the Frogs to their first win over Iowa State in 20 years.

PHILLIPS 66 BIG 12 NEWCOMERS OF THE WEEK

Josh Jackson, Kansas, G, Fr., Detroit, Mich.

• Recorded 18.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in two Jayhawk victories.
• Top game was versus Oklahoma State as he notched his fourth double-double with 20 points and 11 boards.
• Has four outings with 20 points or more this season, including two in conference play.

Jarrett Allen, Texas, F, Fr., Round Rock, Texas

• Had 18.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per contest for the Longhorns last week.
• Made 14-of-21 (.667) shots from the floor and 9-of-11 (.818) from the free throw line.
• Posted a career-high 19 points to go along with seven rebounds versus No. 9 West Virginia.
