NHL (finally) announces that Capitals-Penguins series will start Thursday

The schedule for the Washington Capitals’ second-round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins is finally here. Verizon Center will host the first game between the teams Thursday night at 8. NBC Sports Network will televise Games 1, 3 and 4, and Game 2 will be on NBC.

If the series goes more than four games, then there will be a two-day break between Games 4 and 5 and another potential two-day break between Games 5 and 6. The first four games will all start at 8 p.m.
