WWE SummerSlam 2015 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the SummerSlam show set to take place on Sun., Aug. 23, 2015, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This will mark the first time in six years the company will hold this event outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and the promotion is doing all it can to load the line-up.

We're now three weeks out from showtime and just one match is official for the show so far. There are plenty of rumors, however.

- Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

"The Phenom" returned at Battleground to cost Lesnar his match with Seth Rollins for the WWE world heavyweight championship. The next night on Raw he cut a promo explaining that Paul Heyman's relentless bragging about breaking the streak is what led to his coming back for revenge. They took the week off last Monday but will reignite the flame tomorrow night on Raw.

The rest of these matches are currently rumored but not official and, of course, could change over the coming weeks:

- Seth Rollins vs. John Cena (WWE world heavyweight championship)

This is the direction right now but Cena broke his nose on Raw last week and it's unclear when he'll be able to return. WWE has yet to officially declare a time frame for his return, but it's expected he'll miss at least the next two weeks.

- The Wyatt Family vs. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose

The previously talked about rumors of Sting joining the babyface team opposite a third member of The Wyatt Family have fallen away and it's likely this is the match in its final form.

- Team Bella vs. Team B.A.D. vs. Team Powerbuff Girls
- Ryback vs. Big Show (Intercontinental championship)
- Prime Time Players vs. New Day vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores (Tag team championship)

They established Lucha Dragons as contenders this past week and will likely do the same with Matadores this coming week.

- Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev
