Paul George scored a season-high 40 points and made seven three-pointers, part of a franchise-record 19 by the Indiana Pacers in a 123-106 victory over the host Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.

C.J. Miles added 32 points, making eight of nine from beyond the arc, as Indiana won for the ninth time in 11 games. The Pacers finished 73.1% (19 of 26) from three-point range.

Gary Neal scored 23 points off the bench for the Wizards, whose three-game winning streak was snapped.

George’s turnaround jumper in the third quarter pushed the Pacers’ lead to 86-77, and then his pull-up three from the left wing made it 91-81, the first double-digit lead for either team. Chase Budinger’s running jumper pushed it to 99-86 early in the fourth, and the Wizards never got closer than 10 after that.

At Memphis 110, Dallas 96: Mike Conley (21 points) and Jeff Green (19) were among seven Grizzlies who reached double figures as Memphis won its fifth game in the last six.

Raymond Felton and J.J. Barea each scored 16 points and tried to pull the Mavericks back into the game after they trailed by 25 just after the fourth quarter began.

Memphis capitalized on 19 Dallas turnovers and limited the Mavericks to 39% shooting. Dirk Nowitzki was just five of 15.

At Atlanta 121, Boston 97: Paul Millsap had 25 points, Jeff Teague added 16 and the Hawks prevailed.

Atlanta, which had dropped four of five, essentially put the game out of reach with an 18-3 run that made it 100-80 with 6 minutes 20 seconds remaining.

Avery Bradley had 15 of his 25 points in the first half for the Celtics, who have dropped three of four.

Rose had missed two games with a left ankle injury. His floating jumper stretched Chicago’s lead to 78-65 early in the fourth quarter, but Portland rallied within 78-76 on Ed Davis’ tip shot.

Damian Lillard (19 points) missed a three-point shot to tie it for Portland with 2:25 left, then missed the second of a pair of free throws with 20.7 seconds left that would have also pulled the Blazers into a tie.
