Olam International: No merit in Muddy Waters' claims

It's an extraordinary case of claim and counter-claim.

Singapore-based agricultural trader Olam International is fighting back against accusations its business is at risk of collapse.

The accusations have been made by short seller Muddy Waters Research, which has questioned Olam's accounting practices and the valuation of some of its assets.

However, the chief executive of Olam International, Sunny Verghese, told the BBC's Asia Business Report that his business was sound.
