Eco Building Products, Inc. Cites Growing Participation by the Architectural Community in the Company's AIA Continuing Education Program

VISTA, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 13, 2016) - Eco Building Products, Inc. (OTC PINK: ECOB) reported today that participation in its online AIA continuing education program, "Protecting Wood Framed Structures and Topical Lumber Coatings", surged in December to more than twice the monthly average. "Introduced in June 2015, program participation has held steady at an impressive 70 architects per month, and that number jumped to 187 in December," cited Tom Comery, Eco's President and CEO. "Experts close to the CES Program tell us that participation typically drops off after the initial introduction and to hold steady like this is extraordinary. Surging to more than double the monthly rate is particularly impressive."

The Eco program qualifies for 1 AIA HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) CE Hour. The AIA (American Institute of Architects) Continuing Education System (also known as AIA CES) is a multifaceted, lifelong professional development program and the largest source of education specifically targeted to the design and building industry. The CES program was developed by the AIA to help members meet their state mandatory continuing education (MCE) requirements and to help them fulfill their AIA continuing education requirement for membership renewal. Most state licensing boards with MCE requirements recognize AIA CES as the primary source of continuing education for their licensed architects.

"We recognize that bringing innovative new products to market within the Construction and Building Materials Industry starts with adoption by the design community. The pace at which architects are taking up our program is exciting and bodes well for future sales," said Mr. Comery. He went on to add; "Nearly 600 architects across 48 States and three Canadian Provinces have taken the program which is a solid start in just the first seven months. Further, we are beginning to get direct calls from participants for additional technical information, assistance and availability."
