Teen injured in Fayette County ATV crash

A teenager is in the hospital after the driver of an ATV he was a passenger in crashed and rolled the vehicle into a ditch in rural Fayette County.
The Fayette County sheriff's office says two juveniles, ages 13 and 14 of Hawkeye, were travelling northbound at the 23000 block of O avenue when the driver lost control of the Arctic Cat ATV. The ATV went into the west ditch off the road and rolled.
The 13-year-old passenger was transported to Palmer Hospital in West Union and was later air lifted for injuries obtained in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
