Adels' career spans more than twenty years of leadership roles, including global CEO of the fashion house Viktor & Rolf (Diesel Group), President & CEO for the German-speaking countries of EMI Music Group, CEO for Northern Europe of the Prada Group and several General Manager roles within the Bertelsmann Media Group.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Adels was founding partner of a consultancy firm advising on intercultural management and organizational transformation.
Adels formerly worked for a global executive search company, where she led the EMEA Fashion and Retail practice as well as handling numerous projects in Media, e-commerce and Entertainment.
She earned a master's degree in Communication Science, Business Administration and Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. Having grown up in Germany, Iran and Italy, Adels is a native German-speaker, as well as fluent in English, Italian and French.
