Crystal Clear Toastmasters host “Rooted to Grow” with guest speaker Ivan Ewert
Public Speaking & Leadership Development Presentation: Free Event
Crystal Lake, IL, March 16, 2017 - Crystal Clear Toastmasters - http://www.crystalcleartoastmasters.org/, invites members of the business community and to an open house where they will learn from special guest speaker, Ivan Ewert, ACS, ALB, Area Director of Toastmasters International and performer who has worked with the Williams Street Repertory. Ewert will share his experience in communication skills for today’s professional with all who are interested in improving leadership abilities.

After hearing from the special guests, attendees will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches) and evaluations.

Joe Foley, Immediate Past Vice President of Public Relations, will be the Table Topics master. “Table Topics are one of my favorite parts of the meeting,” says Foley. “This is where members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes. It helps you think and speak clearly on your feet.”
Other speakers include Bruce Burrow, DTM, a Past District Governor for TMI Chicagoland, and Mary Bartnik, acting Treasurer of CCTM.
