AT&T Staff Surprises Child Guidance Center With Random Act of Kindness

Two staff members from the Stamford Town Center's AT&T store delivered cookies and cupcakes to the Child Guidance Center team.

The thoughtful staff of the AT&T Store located in Stamford’s Town Center mall surprised the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut’s staff with cupcakes and cookies on Friday, February 24, 2017.

“They said it was Random Acts of Kindness Day, and they wanted to do something nice for our agency because they admired the work that we do in the community,” said CGC’s Administrative Assistant, Maria Vallejo. “It was just a wonderful and thoughtful surprise!”

Hearing about this act of kindness, CGC’s President and CEO, Eliot Brenner, PhD, headed over to the store to personally thank the staff. “They had the opportunity to pick only five organizations that they felt make a positive impact in the community, and they chose CGC,” said Dr. Brenner. “With our team responding to crisis calls throughout the week, kind gestures like this from people in the community go a long way to support our staff.”
