NEW YORK -- The Mets' workouts this week weren't just a chance to take attendance and joke around, there was some work getting done too.

They will have to face Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke Friday and Saturday so now is the time to stay fresh and on point.

Daniel Murphy and David Wright took plenty of batting practice this week. Here is some video of them getting ready for this weekend in the cage at Citi Field before the team left for Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon.

The Mets will have a workout at Dodger Stadium. Game 1 is Friday night at 9:45 p.m. ET.
