Media giant Thomson Reuters suffered a meltdown of sorts when a “reply-all” email ended up reaching 33,000 electronic mail boxes.
Some poor soul named Vince sent a missive that ultimately gummed up the news organization’s email with people sending “reply all” notes telling others to stop hitting “reply all.”
A company spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal that the system slowed down, but remained running.
Reuters employees tweeted about the snafu under the hashtag #reutersreplyallgate.
