Atrion President and CEO Tim Hebert to Attend President's State of the Union Address

With high-profile data breaches constantly in the news, and the threat landscape evolving rapidly, cybersecurity has become a priority for leaders in both the private and public sector. Cyber threats have become so potentially dangerous to safety in the U.S. that the federal government has increasingly focused on the issue.

One government body leading the charge in this area is the Congressional Cybersecurity Caucus, co-chaired by Rhode Island Representative Jim Langevin. This year, Langevin has invited Tim Hebert, President and CEO of Rhode Island-based IT services company Atrion, to attend President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address on Tuesday, January 12. Langevin extended the invite to Hebert due to their shared interest in cybersecurity and creating a more skilled workforce (Langevin also co-chairs the Career and Technical Education Caucus) in the Ocean State. Each Congressman is allowed only one guest to attend the address.
