ENTREPRENUERS ARE CHANGING AFRICA THROUGH THEIR SUCCESS STORIES. (YESS)

YOUNG ENTREPRENUERS SUCCESS STORIES (YESS) EVENT creates a free platform for Successful Young Entrepreneurs to connect with start-ups and intending start-ups in Africa through their Success Stories, primarily to get young Africans inspired to create, innovate, lead and fast track economic prosperity in Africa. YESS was launched in 2016 at University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The event in 2016 was strategically focused on the student community precisely, tertiary institutions. In 2017, YESS will focus more on communities in general.

The theme for YESS 2017 is BUSINESS: DEVEOPING AND SUSTAINING LONGTERM SOLUTIONS. The theme was adopted because of the growing demand for more solutions to be developed and sustained by young Africans. CHARACTER AND SUCCESS PROJECT organizers of the YESS EVENT has towards the achievement of her goals recently reached partnership with UNID0 (UNITED NATIONS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION). The partnership is focused specifically on Enterprise creation for young people and Women in Nigeria. Character and Success Project is also working on developing internet and electricity enabled hub in different cities around Africa. The Project is inviting corporate organizations, governments and individuals to partner to facilitate the accomplishment of her goals.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, at 10:00AM Prompt, YESS will hold her first event in 2017 in the City of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. YESS Akwa Ibom is designed to inspire Start-ups and Intending start-ups in Akwa Ibom through the Success Stories of Leading Successful Entrepreneurs who are from Akwa Ibom. YESS events at the state level will be duplicated in different states and cities across countries and cities in Africa with the aim of bringing closer to start-ups and intending start-ups the success stories of close community people who have become success stories regardless of where their businesses are located in the world.

The event will also feature Spoken words, Special performances and talks on SDGs.
