AZZ incorporated a global provider of galvanizing services welding solutions specialty electrical equipment and highly engineered services will build a new hot-dip galvanizing plant near Reno NV. The 25-acre plant site is located in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center east of Sparks NV and will be open for business by January 2016.
The Reno plant will be an environmentally friendly state-of-the-art 50000-square foot facility. AZZ Galvanizing – Reno LLC will employ up to 30 people initially expanding as demand for high quality hot-dip galvanizing services grows. Employees will include production maintenance and administrative personnel. Local employment is anticipated to grow to 60 plus people over the course of two to three years.
